De Pevensie kinderen zijn op magische en mysterieuze wijze getransporteerd van Engeland naar het land van Narnia. Daar vindt een spannend en gevaarlijk nieuw avontuur plaats. Het doorzettingsvermogen, de hoop en moed van de kinderen worden dit keer nog meer op de proef gesteld. De vier kinderen zullen snel een indrukwekkend karakter ontmoeten waar ze nog niet eerder kennis mee hebben gemaakt: Narnia's gerechtvaardige erfgenaam op de troon. De jonge Prins Caspian. De prins wordt gedwongen zich te verschuilen voor zijn oom Miraz die hem wil vermoorden. Zijn oom heeft liever dat zijn eigen zoon op de troon komt te zitten.
