Na de film Locusts werd in hetzelfde jaar dit tv-vervolg in elkaar gedraaid. Het verhaal draait wederom een enorme meute vleesetende sprinkhanen die door en verderf zaaien. De sprinkhanen ontsnappen uit een laboratorium en hierna ontketent zich een absolute sprinkhanenplaag.
