In november 1943 smokkelt een nazi-officier de anti-Britse Ier Liam Devlin Engeland in. Tevens wordt er een groep van 16 Duitse parachutisten gedropt achter de vijandelijke linies onder het commando van Kurt Steiner. Dit alles volgens de orders van Heinrich Himmler en indirect van Adolf Hitler. doel van de missie: de ontvoering van de Britse bewindsman Winston churchill uit zijn weekendhuisje in Norfolk.
